The C-Gates project entailed a full remodel and modernization of one of the first buildings constructed at Harry Reid International Airport. Several remodels were done throughout the years, but the scope of the remodel designed by Simpson Coulter | STUDIO was to modernize the C-Gates holistically so that it relates to the newer construction at the D-Gates as well as the new Terminal 3 building. The design considered modern and high-wear materials as well as their sustainable design value. Where possible, recycled materials manufactured locally were selected for the final design.
